{"id":381,"date":"2019-05-15T08:43:58","date_gmt":"2019-05-15T08:43:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oldtauntoniangs.org\/golf\/?p=381"},"modified":"2019-05-15T08:43:58","modified_gmt":"2019-05-15T08:43:58","slug":"reigate-heath-gc-friday-13-sept-2019-inaugural-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oldtauntoniangs.org\/golf\/reigate-heath-gc-friday-13-sept-2019-inaugural-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Reigate Heath GC &#8211; Friday 13 Sept 2019 Inaugural meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Dear All,<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On one of the many sunny afternoons sat on the terrace with Simon Hobbs (OT) at Reigate Heath with views of the Surrey Hills to admire with a nice cold beer and chatting away, we came up with the idea to try an arrange a golf day for OT\u2019s again to share this fantastic 9 hole course. \u00a0So I have booked the afternoon of Friday 13th of September 2019 to try and make this happen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Not only is it a fantastic 9 hole course (which plays 18 holes from different tee positions) but we have just taken on Tony Tobin, celebrity chef who has appeared on Saturday kitchen, Ready Steady Cook etc, as our catering provider at the club. \u00a0 Not only is he providing the club with food but will eventually open the club to the public as a restaurant.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Access to Reigate Heath GC is just off junction 8 of the M25, off the A25 Reigate-Dorking stretch just outside Reigate, rail access is also not bad!!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Number of players we\u2019re looking for are Min 8 &#8211; Max 36.<br \/>\nGuests welcome.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The plan for the day runs something like this:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Meet\u00a0 11:30 &#8211; 12:00<\/div>\n<div>Lunch 12:30 \u00a0 (two course meal incl wine)<\/div>\n<div>Golf 18 holes 14:00<\/div>\n<div>Prize giving 18:00 (we have cups available!!)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Cost for the day is looking like \u00a345 for Lunch\/Golf\/Prizes. \u00a0Anything extra on top of that will be the share of bar tab!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Link to course if curious is \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reigateheathgc.com\/club_video\">https:\/\/www.reigateheathgc.com\/club_video<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>REIGATE HEATH<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis outstanding heathland layout is set on the Surrey\u00a0heathland belt\u00a0and boasts over 100 years of history and pedigree. \u00a0In fact,\u00a0this course is so good Peter Alliss described it as &#8220;a little gem&#8221;\u00a0during his 1980s television\u00a0series.
